zenphoto 1.0beta
January 11th 2006
I’m happy to announce the release of the zenphoto 1.0 beta! This release brings a lot of hard work from a new member of the team, Todd Papaioannou. Since he did most of the work for this release (and he did, believe me) I’ll let him do the explaining.
Head to luckyspin.org for his post,
Or go straight to zenphoto.org to grab the release.

Looks nice, but I wished RSS had made it to this release, but looks like Todd is working on that at the moment.
Lovely changes. Nice of you to give credit where due, but I think a lot of credit goes for the foundation work too. Well done!
Looking good.
Levi do you create a dark theme for zenphoto?
There is available? I see it but The page no loger exist
(sorry my english)
FANTASTIC!
If it works as well on a Windows server as it does on Apache, ZP is now everything I could ever want from a photo app. (Save for XML feeds, but that’s a tiny detail)
Great work Tristan!
Joen,
it does work well on IIS, not nearly the problems like the previous version.
1 minor thing though.. you will need to follow the fix described here http://www.zenphoto.org/support/topic.php?id=215 because IIS does not have modrewrite and the paths get all screwy
and comments dont work..
Other than that.. it works great
Chilifrei,
Glad to hear that it works on IIS. But.. comments don’t work? I actually managed after a lot of labor to setup ZP .8 on IIS, and while the admin didnt work and was completely screwy, comments DID work… What changed?
actually comments do work… not sure what was going on with me there but rest assured.. they do work.. sorry bout that. I have about 5 installations on windows server and all works well… just have to define the paths in the config.php from the link i referenced above.
Where is downloading the zenphoto themes ????
Please me to SmAlex#list.ru
zenphoto 1.0 Beta
Tristan has just released zenphoto 1.0 beta, and it’s gained some important features which were lacking in 0.9. I love the engine and I can’t wait for more work to be done on it.
…
[...] The project is still in the early beta stages, but you can follow the progress on Tristan Harward’s weblog. (He’s the author.) [...]
Are you guys looking for documentation writers?
