The List

July 17th 2005

I’ve had this all along, but it’s probably a good idea to share, so you all have a better idea of my progress. It’s where I consolidate everything about zenphoto and track my own work on it, so it’s nice to look at.

Looks good! Just wanted to say that I’m keeping a close eye on this. Thanks so much for meeting this giant need for so many people! Keep it up!

Damn, lots of things still to be done, seems like it would be impossible to make it in 2 months* :(

    *: Going to need a gallery for a travel-blog

I’ll have a release out before then; it won’t have everything on that list, but it will be quite usable and nice. :)

Well, I guess in the meantime you’ll just have to use Plogger :P

I can’t not reccomend that… if you need something fast, Plogger’s a great system, and I’m sure it will suit your needs. Besides, migrating can’t be that big of a deal if you ever decide to… er… upgrade ;)

i’m leaving for a 4 month study abroad on august 23rd and i’d like to get a photoalbum up on my site before i go. after looking at all of the possible photoalbums out there, i must say, zenphoto is the best and has what looks like the most promising future by far. if i install the current version now, will i be able to easily update to future versions? if not, do you think a newer version might be done within a week or so before august 23rd? thanks for everything!

    Tom,

When I release the first version, I’ll make sure you’ll be able to upgrade from then on.

I might have a version for download by then. Check back when you need it, and if I’m not ready, try Plogger or iPAP.

    Thanks for the compliments :)
