Bilal—That could be an option; it’s very easy to do with javascript, and already implemented in Photostack. Probably won’t be on by default though.

Everyone—0.4 is coming soon (tonight or tomorrow), and 0.5 will be the first full-featured (minus groups and searches) public release. Expect that in the middle of August.

Looks amazing so far! Very nice.
I was wondering if you could have a fading effect when a picture loads or if you move onto the next picture?

I would love to see it in this WP-Gallery-Plugin.

Khaled—that’s all up to the template. Within the image’s page, the album it’s in is completely accessible, as is the gallery listing. You can easily (with a little PHP) print the five or seven images around the current one in a row below or to the side. I might make a template function to make it more automatic.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, if it has sorry about that, but what about the a thumbnail gallery on the side of every image? Same way iPAP does it I guess?

This looks great. I am looking for a gallery solution and there is nothing on the market that is simple in principle. Love version 0.3 already. Use of AJAX is awesome.

It seems like it has some problem with Safari: when I hit “Save”, I get an error: “undefined Null value”; and the input box remain active.
But if I reload the page the title is modified is I intended it.

It’s just a tiny problem, otherwise is perfect!

I’m a little late to the party, but I like your progress. I used photostack last year, but grew tired of its stagnant develop and lack of comments and general polish. Not wanting to install the bloat that is Gallery, I searched and searched for a better application.

Finding none, I caved and went with Flickr. The community features are really nice and I did pay $80 for a pro account for two years (extended to 4), but it just feels odd to have people go from my site to Flickr. I mean, I’m paying for hosting right?

I resumed my search today and found your effort. This sounds like it’s perfect and making great progress. Keep it up! PLEASE!
