I have a Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse (not wireless) and it's nice if you like simple mice that aren't wireless (replacing batteries get's annoying).

BTW: I used to know a Tristan when I was younger that was the same age as you. You wouldn't be the Tristan that was at St. Katherin's ~8 years ago?

I love my new Microsoft wireless intellimouse explorer. The tilt wheel is useful in iTunes, but the shape fits my hand well.

Not sure what type of PC you have, but I am a big fan of the Apple Bluetooth Keyboard. But I assume you are on a PC, so I would recommend the Logitech Bluetooth Mouse and any Logitech keyboard. I have found both to be awesome on any PC and Bluetooth is way better than any other wireless technology.

If not, I would recommend the new Starck designed mouse.
