Groundhog Day

Yesterday was Groundhog Day and the State of the Union Address. As Air America Radio pointed out, “It is an ironic juxtaposition: one involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to a creature of little intelligence for prognostication– and the other involves a groundhog.”

    It remains one of my favorite moves to this day. It’s got everything. Humor, humanity, love, time travel, Bill Murray… and it all makes for one perfect film. I meant to watch it on Groundhog day, but I just didn’t have time…

    And Ryan, if we have nothing else (which we don’t), at least we liberals have our jokes. ;-)

    Yes, I like to laugh at both sides. It lightens things up a bit, which is almost always a good thing in politics.
