I discovered this awesome online comic strip the other day. Rated R probably, but extremely funny. It’s called Aikida after the main character, and it’s set in Canada, which just makes it funnier. Here’s the one to start you off, but after that, you have to start from the beginning to catch all the storyline, and because they’re all funnier in context.
My finger didn’t heal much last night. It’s not swollen exactly, but it still hurts to bend it much. I can bend it, though, and it doesn’t feel broken. Feels sprained, just the joint, so I’ll just leave it alone for a while, take my arnica, etc.
What else… ah yes! MaTrIx ReLoAdEd Tonight!!!!! (yes, the hacker type was necessary). We got tickets for a 11:15 showing tonight, which is fortunate because we thought all the shows for tonight were sold out but then they opened up the new showing… and there was much rejoicing. Yea [wave little flag]. There’s something about The Matrix that just makes it the coolest thing ever. Maybe the special effects, maybe the awesome fight scenes, maybe the many allusions to mythology and religion, maybe the simple idea that anything you think up is possible, maybe the idea that AI will eventually get advanced enough to surpass us… it’s all just plain awesome. So anyway, I think I’ll get something done before I go to clarinet barbeque tonight at 5… or maybe not. It’s only Day One of dead-”week”-which-is-really-only-two-days. I’ve got all… tomorrow… to study for English (oh no I’m scared)…. yeah. So until later, read Aikida.
