My first cast-like thing ever…

I was just out playing basketball with everyone, and the ball landed right on my (left ring) finger… outstreched… so the joint is totally bruised and swollen (I don’t think it’s broken). Funny thing, Heather did exactly the same thing last week, same finger too. So she gave me her finger splint. I had to bend it flat so it would reach, but it’s better than nothing. The only bad part is that I can’t type fasr oe hie rhe riht keys. So yeah. I’m crippled. But only in Jedi Knight II and other games such as that. I won’t be able to turn left….
So I wanted to write a lot about the last day of classes and all… that’s pretty cool. But since I can’t type very fast, I’ll just leave it for later perhaps.
I also wanted to say a lot about Red Hat Linux 9, which I really love. It’s the first distro that I actually feel I could use to really get things done. It’s not much on the entertainment side, though. It has a very wide selection of cool non-3D games, but nothing in the mainstream; and (of course) there isn’t a chance of Windoze Media Audio support, so most of my music is unplayable (that is, once I finially got my NTFS C drive mounted..). And there is absolutely no good video support (that is to say, I haven’t got it to work yet). But nonetheless, it’s an awesome OS to mess around with. And with OpenOffice.org, it’s got great word-processing capability. And the GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) gives it Photoshop-quality graphics editing. And the interface is great. Anyway, I’ve said too much. My finger hurts
I’ll stay in Windows until Linux has good audio and video software…
