A commendation.

I would like to commend Apple Computer for finally doing the right thing about the whole online music thing, and wildly succeeding at it. They sold one million songs in their first week of operation. What makes that amazing is that the service is only available to Mac users! They have an extensive library, songs are only $0.99 each (which is cheaper than on a CD — a 10 track CD can cost $20 sometimes), you can burn playlists to CDs (and therefore transfer the music to whatever/wherever you want), transfer unlimited songs to your iPod, and it’s all 128kbps AAC audio, which is supposedly higher quality than MP3 or WMA. Sounds like a good deal to me, and finally an easy way that people can get their online music fix legally and relatively cheaply. Kudos to Apple yet again.
I thought I’d never say this, but someday, I hope to own a Mac. They’re just awesome.
